Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is grappling: controlling a partner on the ground and finishing with joint locks and chokes. Technique and leverage let a smaller person handle a bigger, stronger one, which is why it works for self-defense as well as sport.

Classes run from first-timers to people who have trained for years in other grappling arts or military combatives. We train for self-defense and for tournaments. Competing is never required.

Most classes are taught by black belt William “Bill” Krieg.
